CORPORATE WELLNESS
Our program includes, but is not limited to, the following:
1) Initial health screens and movement screens (specific to your populations ailments -ie: those who sit at desks for many hours), and a risk assessment
with quarterly follow-up screens to track progress.
2) Monthly lunch and learns, covering topics like nutrition, hydration, importance of exercise, office ergonomics, etc.
3) Organization and implementation of company wide wellness events, such as: fun-runs, hikes, bike rides, walks, 5-Ks.
4) Organization of structured competitions like weight loss challenges, decreasing cholesterol challenges, increasing strength.
5) Offering scheduled classes (ie. yoga and workout classes) on or off-site.
Where Do We Start?
One of the first things we like to do is a company wide needs/wants questionnaire. We can offer a bunch of fun classes and seminars, but if it is not what the company as a whole is interested in, it's not beneficial. By doing a needs/wants assessment we can more accurately development an approach that will satisfy the majority of your population.
Why Are We Different?
We understand the importance of keeping the body mobile, especially when a majority of the population spends most of their day sitting down, so we look at movement (or lack there of) as part of our intake. Research has shown us a major link between sitting for long periods of time and many serious diseases. We not only look to get your employees moving, but get them moving properly and without pain. We are also a local company with a studio in Greenwood Village, right down the street. Many corporate wellness companies are running your program from another state. By being nearby, we feel we are better able to serve your company's wellness needs.
What is the Cost of Corporate Wellness?
The typical cost for a wellness program is about $150-$200 per employee per year. That may seem like a lot of money but the typical return on investment for a wellness program is anywhere from $1-$3 per dollar spent. The return is due to increased productivity, decreased absenteeism, and a decrease in low back pain and other debilitating movement issues.
