Don't Let Pain Sideline Your Life

Why should anybody let PAIN keep them from doing something they love; whether that is skiing, golfing, gardening or just making it through activities of daily living.  With today's demands and stresses most people are fighting a nagging pain that keeps them from doing something they love. Many of our clients have lived for years with these pains only to find that with a few training sessions they can feel better, not worse, with the right training. By allowing Solid Fitness to perform a comprehensive "Solid Assessment" you are already taking the first step to being PAIN FREE.   

​There are NO COOKIE CUTTER programs when it comes to PAIN MANAGEMENT and INJURY PREVENTION. ​ Everyone has a different journey to pain free movement.  Joshua's understanding of how the body is supposed to work allows him to be able to correct many of these imbalanced movement patterns to help you move and exercise with little to no pain.   ​Correcting these issues is the KEY to preventing new injuries or decreasing pain from previous ones.

Personal Training, without injury.

From the moment you walk into Solid Fitness you will know that we are not like most gyms or studios.  We pride ourselves in having the ability to focus on our clients and not having all the distractions that come with a bigger gym or studio.

Solid Fitness will guide you through a comprehensive movement/functional analysis, our "Solid Assessment" to determine areas that need correction prior to exercise.  Part of our screening process utilizes the Functional Movement Screen, created by Gray Cook to look at how the body moves compared to how it should move.   Once we understand your body's movement patterns, correct training can begin. 

We utilize the following equipment in our sessions and classes, including but not limited to:  TRX suspension training, the Railyard Obstacle Course, Kettle Bells, Bands, Balls, Crossfit style workouts without injury. 

Training options:  1 on 1 training, partner training or small group training. 
While most training is done at the studio, special arrangements can be made for off-site training.

"I wanted to write this letter of reference for Josh Conn as he helped me more as a Corrective Exercise Specialist than I ever expected.
